I Beg of You

Please don’t let anyone be in control of your happiness

Please don’t give away all the parts of yourself to heal lost souls

Please forgive yourself and those who hurt you

Please practise self-love and not hate

Please have faith in something magnificent

Please don’t compare yourself or your life, you were given it all like this because somebody believed you could handle it

Please believe in it, too

Please never lose hope

Please leap for love and never hide from fate

Please try, try, try and try again

when you think there’s no way out, please look at a child and embrace their freedom, happiness, and lack of care

Please put the worrying down and don’t pick up a frown

I’m begging you, don’t lose any of it, not even yourself

Hold on tight, and you’ll always find a way to fight

Even life’s bark is bigger than its bite.
